The Remingtons - Aim For The Heart album mp3

The Remingtons were founded in 1991 by singers Jimmy Griffin, Richard Mainegra, and Rick Yancey. Griffin was a founding member of the soft rock group Bread, and both Mainegra and Yancey previously recorded in Cymarron, another soft rock band . Yancey was replaced in 1992 by Denny Henson, a former member of Dan Fogelberg's backing band, shortly before the group released its second album, 1993's Aim for the Heart
Aim for the Heart is the second and final album from the American country music trio The Remingtons. Released in April 1993 on BNA Entertainment, the album produced two singles on the Billboard country singles charts: "Nobody Loves You When You're Free" at No. 52 and "Wall Around Her Heart" at No. 69. "Everything I Own" is a cover of a song originally recorded by Bread on their 1972 album Baby, I'm a Want You, and "Ride 'Em Cowboy" was a single for Paul Davis in 1974.

Aim for the Heart 1993. Aim for the Heart 1993. Northern Soul Day And Night Part 5 2005. About The Remingtons. James Griffin (b. 10 August 1943, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, d. 11 January 2005, Nashville, Tennessee, USA), although overshadowed by David Gates, was a singer-songwriter with Bread. After leaving the group, Griffin continued to write and recorded a self-titled album in 1977 on Polydor Records. After recording several singles for Shoe Records in Memphis he released, Griffin & Sylvester, in 1981, a collaboration with Terry Sylvester of the Hollies . As the Remingtons, they released a close-harmony single, ‘A Long Time Ago’, and an album that, in some respects, sounded similar to Bread.
