Streams is guitarist Stefan Wittwer's second solo album (the first was World of Strings, 1990). For this second release on Grob he worked in the studio, multi-tracking guitar parts, processing some with electro-acoustic techniques. But please don't get the impression the guitarist has gone ambient.

Profile: Swiss musician, born 1st March 1953 in Zürich.

Groß is fast becoming a household name for quality improvised music (well in my house anyway), with recent releases by Konk Pack, Josef Suchy and Jean Marc Montera all hitting the spot, and Stephan Wittwer's first solo album for the label is (for the most part) no exception.
