Freak Kitchen is an experimental rock band from Gothenburg, Sweden, formed in 1992. Freak Kitchen's style of music is influenced by many genres besides the traditional heavy metal, ranging from jazz to pop. The band described their third album as "A corny little rd straight from hell!"

Enter Freak Kitchen, brainchild of guitarist Mattias IA Eklundh who, by all standards, should probably have a solid home in a top tier progressive metal band. He seems to have other plans though, as he's too busy stuffing melodies and leads that are rich with metric and harmonic complexity into three minute songs that are safe for mass consumption. After the first listen my eyes were blank and empty. What the hell was that? Did Fk all of a sudden go nu-metal or what the hell was wrong? A couple of listens later I was still like WHAT THE FUCK? and more or less dismissed this album as a complete waste of time and money.

Freak Kitchen - Freak Kitchen 12 songs lyrics: We've Heard It All Before, Vaseline Bizniz, Michael and the Syndrome, Entertain Me, My New Haircut, Broken Food, Bull, Mr. Kashchei and the 13 Prostitutes, Scattered, Tiny Little Second.

A corny little heavy-pop-rock-latin-world-jazz-avant-garde-metal-blues-record straight from hell! The third Freak Kitchen album is pretty different from the other two which, despite many forms of musical influences, easily could be chategorized as hard rock or metal. This is something very different and probably the most freakish of the three. A broad mind is likely to be entertained thoroughly. Enjoy!
