Antonia is a musician who only wrote a few novels! This one fits the gothic blueprint, with changes. There is a cold, formal matron but no meanness. Gwen is to the contrary welcomed from England, if not tardily, by her bereaved brother-in-law and instantly liked by her niece. There's no stereotype of feeling like a prisoner or employee. There is no entrapment or despair. In concert with her sister’s demise calling Gwen’s attention, the older unsolved cases bring about an extra dimension of excitement. Antonia manages to unsettle us with well-spread out suspicion, despite this novel utilizing a small cast of characters.
Antonia Lamb took her banjo-powered medicine show on the road and jammed at home with various pals. She co-anchored on local radio and advised astrological clients. She was inclined to speak truth laced with wacky humor. She will be dearly missed. Updated September 8, 2014. On October 19, 2013 Antonia's community celebrated her life in a tremendous outpouring of love. Her family thanks all of you, including the Caspar Community Center, for making it happen. We remember Antonia on this first anniversary of her death. We are thinking about another celebration in her honor sometime in the future. When something gets to the planning stage, information will be posted here.
