Beethoven's Concertos. Towards the end of the 19th century, the concerto genre had reached a flourishing stage after Mozart had thoroughly contributed to the foundation of the genre. In the first concerts, as well as in the other genres (symphonies, sonatas, quartets) Mozart’ and Haydn’s influence is evident. The characteristics of Beethoven’s sensibility were to become evident starting with his third piano concerto

Tchaikovsky & Beethoven Violin Concertos is the name of one of three conventional classical albums by classical musician Vanessa-Mae before her rise to pop stardom. It was recorded in 1990. Tchaikovsky: Violin Concerto in D, OP. 35 32:14. 1. Allegro moderato - Allegro giusto 17:19. 2. Canzonetta: Andante 5:54. 3. Finale: Allegro vivacissimo 9:06. Beethoven: Violin Concerto in D, Op. 61 40:42. 4. Allegro, ma non troppo (22:42). 6. Rondo allegro (9:50).

Piano Concerto N. in E flat major O. 3 -"Emperor" : 2. Adagio un poco mosso. Beethoven: Complete Concertos, Vo. (2 CDs). Composers: Ludwig van Beethoven. 03. Piano Concerto N. 3 -"Emperor" : 3. Rondo (Allegro). Concerto for Piano, Violin, and Cello in C, O. 6 : 3. Rondo alla Polacca. 01. Violin Concerto In D, O. 1 : 1. Allegro ma non troppo.

Beethoven: The Five Piano Concertos is the third album of Murray Perahia performing the complete piano concertos of various composers that I have recently added to my music library. The other two are Murray Perahia Plays Bach Concertos and Murray Perahia Plays Mozart – The Piano Concertos. In my mind, Perahia is one of the finest concert pianists alive today, as he attests to perfection in his performances contained in Beethoven: The Five Piano Concertos. This is simply the best album of Beethoven’s piano concertos I've ever heard. Most highly recommended.
