Rossini - Meisterwerke Der Oper - La Penerentola, Der Barbier Von Sevilla ‎(CD, Comp). Alexander Von Pitamic - The Magic Flute, Die Zauberflöte (Album).

The Barber of Seville, or The Useless Precaution is an opera buffa in two acts by Gioachino Rossini with an Italian libretto by Cesare Sterbini. The libretto was based on Pierre Beaumarchais's French comedy Le Barbier de Séville (1775). The première of Rossini's opera (under the title Almaviva, o sia L'inutile precauzione) took place on 20 February 1816 at the Teatro Argentina, Rome, with designs by Angelo Toselli.

Comic opera in two acts Libretto by Cesare Sterbini after the comedy Le Barbier de Séville ou la Précaution inutile by Pierre Augustin Caron de Beaumarchais Performed in Italian with German and English supertitles. Count Almaviva loves Rosina and tries to get close to her disguised as a student. However, he has to find a way to evade Bartolo, Rosina’s miserly guardian, who himself intends to marry his ward.

Der Barbier von Sevilla. Maurizio Muraro as Bartolo, Arutjun Kotchinian as Basilio. Der Barbier von Sevilla. Jana Kurucová as Rosina, Maurizio Muraro as Bartolo, Arutjun Kotchinian as Basilio, Hulkar Sabirova as Berta, Matthew Newlin as Almaviva. It was Rossini through and through, his music at its loveliest in BARBIER VON SEVILLA. Those who despise Italian music and hasten to openly revile it will one day receive their just punishment in hell, perhaps condemned to listen for eternity to Sebastian Bach's fugues. Gioacchino Rossini (1792 – 1868). Melodramma buffo in two acts Libretto by Cesare Sterbini, based on a drama by Pierre-Augustin Caron de Baumarchais First performed on 20. February, 1816 in Rome Premiered at the Deutsche Oper Berlin on 29. November, 2009. He does everything he can to prevent the attractive Rosina from having contact with the outside world - and possible young lovers. The third part of the trilogy, L’AUTRE TARTUFFE OU LA MERE COUPABLE, which appeared in 1792, did not enjoy the success of its predecessors, conceivably due to the chaos of the French Revolution.
