The people that I believe change their perspective the most is Raquel Moore unemployed from Western Sydney and her perspective on refugee and asylum seekers was if it was up to me. I’d send them back. They wouldn’t be staying here. Raye Colbey, retired social worker from Inverbrackie, her perspective was that when the boat crashed coming to Christmas Island I thought, It served you bastard’s right

Six ordinary Australians take on the challenge to live like refugees for 25 days and take a perilous boat journey to unknown shores on a leaky boat. In the series opener of this reality series charting a reverse-refugee experience, six Australians turn over their passports, wallets and phones before being sent to talk to refugees and boarding a small fishing boat to begin their journey. two months from now.
