Guy Lombardo And The Royal Canadians - The Sweetest Sounds Today! album mp3
Boo Hoo - Carmen Lombardo, Cliff Grass and Fred Higman sing Boo Hoo. This song was one of their greatest hits and was one of their greatest hits and was written by Carmen. Guy Lombardo and his Royal Canadians were one of the most successful big bands of all time. It was very much a family outfit with three brothers in the band. Also, from 1941 til the late 1940's a sister was the lead vocalist. The band was formed in Canada in 1921 and was still going strong 50 years later. Today would have been their 75th wedding anniversary. New Years Eve wasn't complete unless you watched Guy and the Royal Canadians live from the Waldorf and the ball dropping in Times Square. I don't even stay up for it anymore. Roger FiskHace 6 meses. Nave NetoowHace 6 meses.
Best of Guy Lombardo & His Royal Canadians. The legendary Louis Armstrong once said that Guy's band was his all-time favourite. Some of the tunes in this album were among those hits, but not the actual renditions heard here, as indicated in the 3 pages of liner notes written by Brad McCuen "The orchestra presented in this album dates from 1950 and were originally radio recordings. The program is made up of standard tunes which Guy didn't record in their full arrangements and thus are most welcome additions. The vocals are particularly outstanding and feature the trio, Kenny Gardner, Cliff Grass and Don Rodney.
